Jianmei Guois China's first full-time public interest lawyer, as well as a human rights activist, director of Beijing Zhongze Women's Legal Counseling and Service Center, and visiting professor of the Law School at Minzu University of China. In 2005, she was one of 1000 women put forward as a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize. She is the recipient of the 2010 Simone De Beauvoir Prize and of the International Women of Courage Award in 2011.

Rong Yongis Head of Policy and Public Affairs at Greenpeace East Asia. She graduated from Soochow University and China Foreign Affairs University in 2000. She was formaelry a diplomat with the Chinese Embassy of Tanzania.
Fei Dengis an Editing Committee Member and Director of the Journalism Department of Phoenix Weekly. He is the initiator of an anti-trafficking movement using micro-blogs, and an initiator and promoter of the movement "Free Lunch for Children". Recently, Fei Deng has devoted himself to exploring the new charity model in the Internet era, and the development of China's philanthropy.
Chung To is the Founder and Chairman of Chi Heng Foundation (CHF). Chung was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. During his 13-year stay in the US, he received a bachelor's degree at Columbia University and a master's degree at Harvard University. Chung worked in investment banking for 10 years with several European and US banks in New York and Hong Kong. While working as a banker in Hong Kong, Chung founded Chi Heng Foundation with a few like-minded individuals and began working on AIDS education and prevention projects in China on a part time basis. In 2002, after realizing the seriousness and urgency of AIDS in China, Chung decided to put his banking career on hold and began devoting his full attention to AIDS work in China on a pro bono basis.

Auto Accident

Got into an accident, didnt call the cops or the insurance. I am paying the lady 300 dollars… to get the F*** scratch remove from her bumper at the most expensive auto body shop in VA. my co-worker recommended me to get some legal contract from staples and have her come in and sign infront of a notary.
Do you guys think I should do that.. or just give her the check and make it payable to the auto body shop and write for auto accident in the memo section???
I know the lady, not to well…but i am pretty sure she wont take me to court after I pay her… would a simple check hold up??

I would make the check payable to the body shop, and also get some kind of legal document drawn up to state that you have paid for damage, and that the matter is finished.

A scenic view of Arizona’s tallest mountain, taken from the Buffalo Range Road interchange (Exit 225), about 30 miles east of the evergreen tree-filled city of Flagstaff.
The scenery in this photo is very deceiving; about five miles after you pass this interchange (on I-40 westbound), junipers start to replace the flat brushland, then the closer you get to Flagstaff, the more the taller pine trees start to appear.

A brilliant skyscape just after the rains and overcast sky suddenly disappeared in the late afternoon. This was taken in the San Rafael Valley of southern Arizona. This place is about 10 miles north of Lochiel, close to the border with Mexico.
Without a wide-angle lens, I would not have been able to capture this scene. Now that I see what an inexpensive lens can do, I want that Canon 10-22mm wide angle lens even more. I’m waiting for that bluebird of happiness to drop about 0 on me. I may be waiting a long, long time for that bird.
